How can we make sense of 1000s of searches when each keyword phrase was only used once or twice?

It is not unusual for most people to search for your web site using rarely used keyword combinations. When looking through you log files it is hard to find which are your most important keywords once you move past the first few. You may have another 1000 keywords each of which was searched only once or twice.

Our SEO Keyword Engine is designed to helping internet marketers prioritize this keyword referral information they get from their log files by consolidating all the keywords into groups by subject.

Why do we need to consolidate keywords for search engine enquires?

As time goes on people become more sophisticated with their searches. More and more searchers are using two, three and more keywords in order to narrow their searches. Another technique is to use quote marks around the search keywords to further limit the search results. As a result, internet marketers end up analyzing log files which have more and more entries. It is not unusual for a log files to contain thousands of keywords. This makes it less obvious to know which keywords are most important. Lets say that your are an internet marketer who has a site which receives a lot of hits which have SEO as one of the words in the keyword phrase searches which bring people to your site. Part of the keyword list might look like this (the numbers refer to number of searches):

Except for a few keywords, all the others appear only once or twice. This makes it very difficult to find out which are your most important keywords.

That is where the Search Entry Optimization Engine™ Tool comes in.

This wonderful little machine will take all your keywords and consolidate them. For example if seo consultant appears in 100 different combinations (seo consultant, "seo consultant", seo USA consultant, seo consultant fee, etc) the seo machine will add them all up together. If will add up all the other possible combinations. You may find two kinds of information that surprise you:

1. The keyword which had the most searches on this example site was "SEO company" for example which had 65 searches. However, another keyword phrase--"SEO consultant" had only 40 searches but also had 40 additional 3 or 4 word searches which contained "SEO consultant" in it--80 altogether. With this information in hand you may want to, for example, focus on your "SEO consultant" page before you work on your "SEO company" page since it is bringing in far more traffic.

2. You may also find that some keywords which you thought were not important, are actually far more important than you originally thought. For examples you may find that you have 100 different combinations of "SEO SEM xxxxx" (SEO SEM consultant, SEO SEM company, SEO SEM strategist, etc.) Since each phrase may have occurred only once or twice it would be very difficult to go through the thousands of keyword combinations by hand and add up all the combinations which have keywords in common.
